Elements Touch® announced as NetEnt’s next mobile game
Elements Touch® will be the fifth new mobile game launched in 2017, so far, because I’m sure many new mobile games will follow in the upcoming 10 months. This new NetEnt mobile game is planned to be launched on the 22nd of March together with Wild Water Touch®, and one day after Jungle Spirit: Call of the Wild Touch® arrives at the NetEnt Casinos.
Mobile games continue to be an important growth driver for NetEnt and accounted for 43 percent of revenues in the fourth quarter of 2016. In the past three years, the mobile share of NetEnt’s gamewin increased from a humble 9% to 43% in the last quarter. It’s just one of the few examples I can give to show how important the mobile market became and what role the NetEnt Touch® Games are playing in today’s iGaming industry.
While NetEnt’s desktop games were up and running, it was a bit less than a decade ago that NetEnt started to see a trend in mobile gaming. NetEnt’s hunger for innovation resulted in the first NetEnt Touch® games being launched in 2011 including Roulette Touch® and Gonzo’s Quest Touch®. Along the way, newer games were directly launched as a Touch® game while NetEnt launched a bunch of their older popular titles as well such as Starburst Touch®, Jack and the Beanstalk Touch®, and Jack Hammer Touch®.
Almost 60 NetEnt Touch® Games are now available at the mobile casinos including four jackpot slots. It Mega Fortune Touch® that was launched as the first mobile jackpot game at the end of 2013, followed by Mega Fortune Dreams Touch® halfway 2014 and this month the Divine Fortune™ slot was released together with Divine Fortune Touch®. The fourth mobile jackpot game developed by NetEnt, Hall of Gods Touch®, became available last week bringing the popular Hall of Gods™ Jackpot to the mobile casinos.
New NetEnt Touch® Games 2017
Besides new slots and their mobile version, it has been pretty quiet when it comes to older slot titles being transformed into mobile games like Hall of Gods Touch®. But, NetEnt seems to have big plans for 2017 and it seems that Hall of Gods Touch® won’t be the first and last older title launched as a mobile slot this year.
The second month of 2017 didn’t even come to an end and three mobile slots, old and new titles, have been released by NetEnt already while many new mobile games have been announced. There was the launch of Divine Fortune Touch® in January, and Joker Pro Touch® this month while Wild Wild West: The Great Train Heist Touch® will arrive at the mobile casinos on the 23rd of February. Those three games have been part of standard game launches meaning a desktop game and mobile game have been launched. Separately from those launches, NetEnt started to release a series of older titles as Touch® Games as well with Hall of Gods Touch® being the first for 2017.
The next NetEnt slot that will be transformed into a Touch® game is Elements: The Awakening™ of which the desktop version was launched in December 2012. From the 22nd of March, you will be able to enjoy this new mobile game at the NetEnt Casinos enjoying the incredible Avalanche™ feature, as well as an impressive 4 different Free Falls modes, each with a different Wild and named after the elements. This mobile slot will consist of spectacular animations with each element having its own character.
Having a good look at the Elements: The Awakening™ slot, I do think the game deserves more credits. With such a special gameplay, original theme, and spectacular animations, I expected this NetEnt slot to become more popular at the time, but it didn’t. I do believe that Elements: The Awakening™ deserves much more credits and I hope that Elements Touch® blows some new life into this attractive NetEnt slot.
Gonzo’s Quest™ was launched seven years ago bringing the Avalanche™ functionality to the NetEnt Casinos and this video slot has been popular ever since. This remarkable slot feature is also available in Elements Touch®, together with four different Free Falls Storm modes with each of them offering a different Wild feature. Such a combination of slot features, including the Avalanche™ feature, deserves more attention for sure. No game supplier could have integrated the four elements Fire, Air, Water, and Earth into a video slot the way NetEnt did while the traditional spin button is replaced with an Energy Meter that displays the leading element, divided into four sections. This innovative Energy Meter indicates which of the four Free Falls Storm mode is about to be activated first.
