About the Hotline 2™ slot
In 2018, NetEnt launched the first episode of its very own Miami Vice with the Hotline™ video slot. It was the year that the detectives Quinn and Riviera became indispensable. They’re in the spotlights in this 80s-style slot that wouldn’t make sense without its femme fatale.
She’s a real badass, involved in the diamond industry. Any industry with a lot of money involved, and an illegal circuit, will eventually create victims. That’s why you always need a bunch of good guys, like detectives Quinn and Riviera.
In 2020, both the detectives Quinn and Riviera and their favourite criminal returned to the reels. NetEnt recycled the theme and some of the original slot features, just to add more excitement. However, it’s not the gameplay that got NetEnt the award. This time, it’s the catchy soundtrack. In combination with the Twilight Miami backdrop, and 80s-style graphics, the Hotline 2™ slot is highly recommended.
How do you activate the Hotline feature?
Just like its predecessor, Hotline 2™ slot comes with the Hotline feature. The feature increases the chance to attract Expanding Wilds in exchange for a higher bet.
Once you experienced the Hotline feature, you know it’s worth it to pay a higher bet for more of the Expanding Wilds to appear. And in the Hotline 2™ slot, it’s getting even better. The reason why is that not only the Wilds will expand, also the number of symbols on a reel!
Reel 3 is a hotline in the main game and that’s where you want a Wild to land. It’s because a Wild symbol landing on a Hotline expands to cover the entire reel.
You place a Hotline Bonus Bet and you activate more Hotline reels for more Wilds to appear. It’s worth it!
