Jack Hammer gets competition in upcoming Cash Noir™ slot

A mysterious murder case needs solving in the upcoming NetEnt’s Cash Noir™ slot. Will this mean the come back of NetEnt’s Jack Hammer or will NetEnt introduce another fearless detective? It’s for sure that the upcoming crime-themed slot is going to bring a thrilling slot experience. Due to the return of the famous Avalanche mechanic.

During the main game, you’ll collect clues for a Free Spins ride through the winding city streets of San Cayetano. With each item unlocked, you’ll be closer to the real action! On the 24th of June, you enter into the world of Crime fiction from the moment with the Cash Noir™ slot.

Does Jack Hammer return in Cash Noir™ slot?

Who doesn’t know Jack Hammer, the fearless detective from the popular Jack Hammer™ slot? The Jack Hammer™ slot was launched a decade ago, in 2010. The game brings the pulp-fiction crime saga Jack Hammer to the reels, fighting Evil Dr Wuten. In reality, the game is inspired by the American comic strip Dick Tracy, created by Chester Gould in 1931.

The American comic strip makes the fictional police detective Dick Tracy a hero to millions. But it’s Jack Hammer™ and Jack Hammer 2™ that make NetEnt’s Jack Hammer a true legend!

Unfortunately, we don’t see Jack Hammer back on the reels in the Cash Noir™ slot. There’s a new detective hero coming to town, working under the name Tom Flint!

Who’s Tom Flint?

Tom Flint is a new fictional character created by NetEnt and is about to arrive in San Cayetano on the 14th June. Luckily, my middle name is Sherlock Holmes and I’ll do everything to find out who Tom Flint is.

Involved with Green Ace murders, they were the first link to Inspector Flint I followed. What I bumped into is a book called The Green Ace. In the Green Ace, it’s Hildegarde Withers, a retired schoolteacher with a zest for crime, that solves the crime. So this link came to a dead end.

The murders took place in the Cat’s Eye bar, but neither did they lead me to San Cayetano, nor to the Green Ace Murders. Another dead end!

So I end up believing that Tom Flint is completely fictional as the search for his name resulted in a dead end as well.

Where is San Cayetano?

Looking for San Cayetano, I end up in a small town of about 8,000 people in Argentina. The town established on 13th March 1911. Even though situated in the Buenos Aires Province, the town is still around 500 kilometres away from Buenos Aires, the Capital of Argentina.

The Cash Noir™ slot promises you a wild ride through the winding city streets of San Cayetano. However, I’m pretty sure it’s not the Argentinian town San Cayetano the story took place.

So what’s the story behind Cash Noir™?

Tom Flint is the inspector involved in the Green Ace murders that took place in the Cat’s Eye bar. This city bar is known for its illegal card games and the arguments as a result of these games. Usually, these arguments are solved with some name-calling or a fistfight, but not on the night of the Green Ace murders.

The most infamous cold case in San Cayetano’s history changed the course of the bar, with a stabbed man’s dead body slumped back in his chair. The only clue, a Green Ace card tucked neatly between his teeth.

No one knows what exactly happened and there are several suspects. Like Lola Leclair, the owner of the Cat’s Eye. She covered up the mess to protect her business. But then another body was found at the Cat’s Eye Bar…. and another. That when the Green Ace murder became the Green Ace murders. That’s when local criminal Pit Viper comes into the picture. After all, he was there on the night of the first murder.

The Green Ace murders were never solved, but detective Tom Flint decided to dig into the case once again. A new clue that might help to finally solve the legendary murders has been discovered…

What to expect from the Cash Noir™ slot design?

The reels are set in a dark room where the clues are collected to get to the solution of the crime. There’s a mysterious woman smoking next to the reels. What is here role to play in the video slot? Is she involved in the crimes? It looks like she’s waiting for someone…

The crime asks for a gritty, wise-cracking detective, and so we got Tom Flint! He’s ready to step into the shadows of the unsolved Green Ace murders and in the crime-ridden underworld of San Cayetano.

The crimes took place in the back room at the Cat’s Eye bar. But the game also promises you a wild ride through the winding city streets of San Cayetano. What is promised, is what you get! When enough clues collected, you’ll find yourself roaming the streets of San Cayetano. What’s in it for you?

What about the Avalanche slot mechanics?

It was in 2011 that the Avalanche slot mechanics were introduced in the Gonzo’s Quest™ video slot. Thanks to the innovative slot mechanics, symbols involved in a winning combination will disappear from the reels. Just to be replaced by new symbols for a new winning chance. A consecutive series of winning combinations caused by these slot mechanics is called an Avalanche.

The popular Avalanche slot mechanics are available in several NetEnt slots including Emojiplanet™, Pyramid™, and Finn and the Swirly Spin™. The Cash Noir™ slot will soon be added to this incredible list.

To add even more excitement, NetEnt also added Mystery Symbol transformations and Free Spins with a progressive Multiplier. Mystery Symbols transform into random symbols for better winning chances.
