NetEnt continues to expand in Latin America with Caliente deal in Mexico

In December of last year, NetEnt entered an impressive three new online casino markets including Bulgaria, Portugal, and Mexico. An agreement signed with existing customer Codere meant the entree for NetEnt in Mexico, as well as Latin America. NetEnt continues to expand globally on regulated iGaming markets and now a second deal has been signed in Mexico, this time with the largest online gaming operator, Caliente.

New online casino markets in 2017

While 2016 was an incredible year for NetEnt entering an incredible four new markets entered, so far one new license was received this year in British Columbia. It was in May this year that the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB), the gaming regulator in the Canadian province of British Columbia, approved NetEnt Americas as a supplier to the only licensed gaming and lottery operator in the province, British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC).

That’s one new online casino market for NetEnt in 2017, but that’s exactly how it went last year so there’s a big chance more new online casino markets will become reality anytime soon. Meanwhile, NetEnt keeps on expanding in existing markets and the last news involves the Mexican online casino market.

NetEnt’s deal with Caliente

Games went live in Mexico for the first time in January 2017 after a deal was signed with Codere in 2016. With Codere being one of the largest casino operators in Mexico, having an operator license for both land-based and online casino operations, NetEnt made a great deal there and now another deal has been signed, a positive development for NetEnt’s expansion in the Mexican online casino market.

In an announcement earlier today, NetEnt reports the company signed a customer agreement with gaming operator Caliente for the regulated online casino market in Mexico. The customer agreement with Caliente means that NetEnt will supply a wide selection of its award-winning online casino games to Caliente’s online casino platform in Mexico.

“I am very pleased that Caliente has selected us as a business partner for online casino. They are a true frontrunner in Mexico, and a major player within the regulated online gaming space. I am convinced that we can support them to drive online casino growth and to provide the best-in-class entertainment experience to their player community”, says Björn Krantz, Managing Director of NetEnt Americas LLC.

With the deal, NetEnt will soon be delivering their popular casino games to another large operator in Mexico’s regulated online casino market. Caliente is the largest online gaming operator in the country.

“We are very excited to integrate NetEnt’s world-class gaming portfolio. We are confident the games will expand our growth and solidify our leadership in the regulated Mexican market”, says Emilio Hank, CEO of Caliente Interactive.
