NetEnt signs customer agreement with New Jersey’s DraftKings
While it was halfway 2014 that NetEnt announced the company’s entrance into the online casino market in New Jersey (USA), it was only last February that the software supplier received a permanent Casino Service Industry Enterprise licence from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE). Luckily, thanks to a transactional waiver here and there, NetEnt signed many customer agreements during the years and now again a new customer is added to the long list thanks to a deal with DraftKings.

Thanks to the transactional waivers and the licence granted by the NJDGE, NetEnt has been rather successful in the past years. Since the company’s entrance into the New Jersey market, many customer agreements have been signed with a great number of operators including bwin.party, the Borgata brands, Caesars, Golden Nugget, Resorts Casino, PokerStars, Tropicana, and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.
While NetEnt has been incredibly successful in New Jersey market over the years, but receiving the permanent online gaming licence in New Jersey by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement was definitely a highlight.
NetEnt signs landmark deal with DraftKings in New Jersey
NetEnt keeps on expanding its success and new customer agreements are still signed once in a while. Recently, NetEnt has entered into an online casino supplier agreement with DraftKings for the regulated market in New Jersey.
NetEnt is increasing its footprint in the regulated online gambling market in New Jersey and are very proud to announce a new agreement with fast growing operator DraftKings. In the coming weeks NetEnt a large selection of casino games will be launched and available to Draftkings players.
“We are very excited to have landed a deal with DraftKings. As the world leader in fantasy sports, with a large player base they will add a new dimension to the market and we are confident that their players will enjoy our popular games,” says Erik Nyman, Managing Director NetEnt Americas LLC.
The customer agreement was signed for the online casino market in New Jersey, but DraftKings is headquartered in Boston from where the company offers daily and weekly fantasy sports contests across ten professional sports in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Malta, Germany, Ireland and Austria.
A love for fantasy sports turned into an idea and was presented by Matt Kalish to his friends, Jason Robins and Paul Liberman. The three friends turned the idea into reality with DraftKings as a result. Since the platform launch in 2012, DraftKings has grown explosively, changing the way fans interact with sports.
DraftKings’ Daily Fantasy Sports platform (DFS) offers customers single-day leagues instead of the usual season-long leagues. This way, DraftKings allows customers to compete in single-day online fantasy sports contests across the largest variety of professional sports.
When a customer decides to compete, he or she enters a contest to make their own team selection. Athletes are drafted and teams are built according to athletes’ salary valuations, which are based on their unique historical performance data. Once the team have been submitted, the games begin and the contest closes. Points will be earned based on the in-game performance.
