NetEnt slots 2021 to be expected

The majority of the people just can’t wait for 2020 to end, ready for a new year. NetEnt fans are always ready for a new year with tens of new NetEnt slots coming up. 2021, however, will be different, because it’s only recently that NetEnt was sold to Evolution Gaming. What does this mean for the future of the NetEnt slots? To be honest, I have no clue! I do know that 4 new NetEnt slots have been announced for 2021 including the Gordon Ramsey’s Hell’s Kitchen™ slot, Fruit Shop Megaways™, Rome: The Golden Age™, and the Parthenon: Quest for Immortality!™ slot.

NetEnt slots or Evolution slots?

That’s the question right? I can only hope that they remain with the name NetEnt as we’re all so used to the NetEnt slots. Gonzo is NetEnt, and so is Starburst™. One thing I know for sure, the games won’t just disappear in a big black hole. Evolution gaming was looking for two things in the deal with NetEnt. To take out a competitor and to purchase a great portfolio of video slots. Evolution is an iGaming company that focussed on the Live Casino market, hence they didn’t create any video slots so far.

They were looking for a deal to add a great portfolio of video slots to their game offering. They paid €1.8 billion for it, so I’m pretty sure they won’t throw them in the bin. NetEnt Live, on the other hand, was deleted the day the deal was a fact! That’s the one and only reason why the Live Casino disappeared from the menu on NetentCasinos.com, and it got EOL behind the games. EOL means End of Life, but in this case, it rather means End of Live!

May the Live Dealers disappeared from the NetEnt Casinos as if they’ve never existed, the deal can mean a good thing for the NetEnt slots. How often do we see a restaurant changing owners with a new and improved set-up. A fresh breeze through a company can result in new inspiration, new energy, and new ideas! It could mean a 2nd life for the NetEnt slots, but please Evolution, don’t take away Gonzo! He must live forever, he’s our favourite, and it’s for good reason he is known as The Gonz!

So NetEnt slots or Evolutions slots, let’s all hope we get the chance to enjoy the Avalanche feature, the Twin Reels, the Cluster Pays for much longer! And we have at least another few years of joy with legendary slots like Starburst™, Gonzo’s Quest™,  Fruit Shop™, Finn and the Swirly Spin™, Jack and the Beanstalk™, and many more. Maybe we even see the Evolution™ slot back after it was ditched by NetEnt a few years ago. The irony!

Fruit Shop Megaways™ slotFruit Shop Megaways™ slot

The Fruit Shop™ slot appeared at the NetEnt Casinos in 2011. Now, almost 10 years later, the NetEnt slots 2021 list shows a new version of the game. Not just a version, though, as it’s about to become part of the Megaways™ series. In 2020, we also saw Twin Spin Megaways™ launched and Divine Fortune Megaways™. 2021 promises at least one more Megaways™ slot that involves a NetEnt game.

Even though all Megaways™ slots share the same engine, each game has its own theme and special features, making each game unique after all. And of course, Fruit Shop Megaways™ brings back the fresh fruits we got to appreciate the past 10 years.

The most important part of the Megaways™ version is the 117469 ways to win, but we also see the Wild and Free Spins back in the game, of which the latter comes with an increasing Multiplier.

NetEnt fans know the Avalanche feature and know how valuable this feature is for a game. Imagine this same feature with up to 117469 ways to win!

Rome The Golden Age™ slotRome The Golden Age™ slot

I have the idea that the Roman Empire is on the rise again at the NetEnt Casinos! You won’t notice it yet, but 2021 is going to be the year of the Romans! It all starts in February when the first Roman-themed slot of 2021 becomes available.

While it brings a 5-reel slot game, the game looks completely different from a standard slot. The distinctive reels have something to do with that like this is also the case in Dazzle Me™Reel Rush™, and Reel Rush 2™. This time, the reels are arranged in a diamond shape with a height of 3, 4, 5, 4, and 3 symbols from left to right.

It’s the Golden Age symbols you are after when playing the main game of  Rome The Golden Age™ slot. These will increase your chances of landing big clusters of Wilds as a Golden Age symbol can randomly turn into a Rome symbol. A frame appears around the symbol. All Golden Age symbols from the spin become active, recognised by a golden frame.

Reels will then spin again and at the end of the spin, the active symbol turns into a Wild symbol. But that’s not all as all adjacent symbols with the golden frames turn into Wild symbols too. As well as the positions next to them, and so on up to 5 times.

Activate 3 Free Spins with three Scatters which come with a progressive multiplier! All positions with Frames or Rome symbols that did not turn into Wild symbols during the activation spin, will lock and then award a random prize ranging from 1 to 50 times your bet.

When a Rome symbol lands on a free position, it’ll also award a random prize ranging from 1 to 50 times your bet and resets the counter back to 3. Every time a Golden Age symbol lands on a position without an (active) frame, the progress bar rises with 1. When a Golden Age symbol lands on a position with an (active) frame, a random number of points ranging between 1 and 5 adds to the progress bar.

Parthenon: Quest for Immortality™ slot

Rumours go that this game is launched on the 16th February, but no preview video is available yet. The game is already previewed on the NetEnt game site so at least I do have an idea of what the game’s features will be.

Considering the name, I guess it involves the 2nd Roman-themed video slot. The Parthenon: Quest for Immortality™  slot promises 6 reels while featuring the Wild Generation Zone feature and Free Spins with a progressive Multiplier. Instead of win lines, the game offers an amazing 10,000 ways to win.

The top row is the Wild Generation Zone in both the main game and during Free Spins. Any symbol in this zone that is part of a winning combination transforms into a Wild symbol. Wilds remain on the reels until they disappear as part of a winning combination or until the next spin.

The Free Spins feature opens when 3 Free Spins symbols appear. You receive 8 Free Spins and 4 extra Free Spins for each extra Free Spins symbol. During Free Spins, one point ads to the Scatter meter for each Scatter symbol appearing on the reels. When the meter reaches 3, it becomes 0 again in exchange for 2 extra Free Spins.

All wins are multiplied by the Multiplier which starts at x1. Each symbol transforming into a Wild symbol during Free Spins increases the multiplier by x1 with a maximum of x20.

Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen slot NetEntGordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen™ slot

My kitchen is always a hell when I’m trying to fix some food, but that’s a completely different story! Let’s not discuss my cooking qualities, but the upcoming Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen™ slot that’s part of the NetEnt slots 2021 list. The game is expected to be launched in 2021 and is one to look forward to!

For two reasons! Don’t we all love how Gordon Ramsey turns his kitchen into a hell? Besides that, we also love to see a good gameplay. This time it includes a Wilds feature, Team Challenge Free Spins with Order Up features and the Gordon’s Bonus Game.

We all know Gordon loves to throw things at rubbish chefs, right? During the main game, you might see him throwing a few knives, plates, or pots at the reels. These will then turn into Wild symbols within between 5 and 7 Wilds available during the Ramsay’s Wild feature.

Besides the Wild feature, there’s also the Challenge Free Spins with Order Up features. This is where a lot of the slot’s flavor lies. In Free Spins, you’ve got to choose a team: either you’re on the red team, or the blue team. The two teams go head-to-head, but you’ll get the winnings regardless of which team you’re on. And Bonus features like Multipliers and Random Wilds mean that you’ve got a good chance to land some nice wins.

Gordon’s Bonus Game: If your team wins, you enter the Pick-and-Click Bonus game, which is the final and most crucial ingredient. You are presented with 15 menus. 12 will give you a nice prize: coin wins or multipliers. But three of the menus have got crosses on the other side. 3 crosses and you’re out, so don’t choose those. Choose the right menus, and you’ll get fantastic results.
